If you are looking to dine in the heart of the party, then this list is for you! These patios are all
located on Phillips Avenue, the main drag of Downtown Sioux Falls. To truly embrace the festive
energy of happy-hour and weekends in downtown Sioux Falls, these outdoor dining experiences
are a must.
Carpenter Bar
To kick off the evening with happy hour, look no further than the stunning deep-blue facade of
the Carpenter Bar, which specializes in classic and upscale cocktails. Enjoy their tasty house-
made bar nuts or cheese plate while you sip your drinks.
Hello Hi
If tropical drinks and tiki bars are more your speed, stop by the Hello Hi! And after you have
ordered your drinks, be sure to head on inside to the back of the building for some truly
phenomenal pizza by Pizza Cheeks. Pizza can be ordered whole or by the slice.
Crawford’s
Nothing beats a charcuterie, humus or butcher’s board with a glass of wine on Crawford’s patio.
They also sport a full menu of steaks, seafood, pasta and grilled pizza. And don’t forget the
s’mores on their dessert menu for a classic summer evening treat.
Blarney Stone Pub
Blarney Stone is a classic Irish pub on the southern end of Phillips Avenue that has its own
clever spin on patio season. Two large garage doors open to allow indoor diners to take in
balmy summer evenings while tucking into cold pints. Blarney Stone also offers a more
traditional patio outside the pub on Phillips.
Fernson Brewing Co.
Arguably one of the most popular outdoor dining areas on Phillips belongs to Fernson Brewing.
Be sure to arrive early to grab a table on their beer-garden style patio complete with lights
strung in the surrounding trees. Their beer is a local best and their ever-changing menu is
always top-notch.
